PHILADELPHIA – Mayor Kenney issued the following statement on Governor Wolf’s appointment of Estelle Richman to the School Reform Commission:

“Estelle’s extensive knowledge on complex systems and policy issues, as well as her dedication to improving the living and learning conditions for our most vulnerable citizens will serve the City of Philadelphia well. A lifelong public servant, the School District of Philadelphia is fortunate to have such a champion working on its behalf. I am confident that her breadth of experience working on the local, state, and federal levels of government will help the District continue to strengthen educational opportunities for our children.”
