Philadelphia – Mayor Jim Kenney, Councilwoman Cherelle Parker, Rebuild Executive Director Nicole Westerman and Philadelphia Parks and Recreation staff will tour Olney Recreation Center to highlight the diversity of programming offered at Philadelphia Parks and Recreation facilities and to demonstrate the need for Rebuild investment at parks, libraries and recreation centers across the city.  During the tour, Mayor Kenney and Councilwoman Parker will visit youth participants in the performing arts and ceramics programs at Olney, as well as tour the facility.

Located on 2.3-acres in North Philadelphia, Olney Recreation Center offers robust programming, including dance and performing arts, ceramics, basketball and more.  The facility, which is also home to the Olney Eagles Youth Organization, includes a hockey court, two ball fields, two sports fields, two tennis courts and four basketball courts.
