The Department of Revenue can quickly set up payment plans for businesses and individuals struggling to pay business and income taxes. Avoid interest and legal consequences by acting right away.

Don’t wait
If you owe the City of Philadelphia back taxes, the last thing you should do is wait it out. The problem won’t get better on its own. If you do nothing, it will likely get worse. The good news is the City has payment agreements to help. Depending on the plan you join, you could avoid penalties altogether.

The City rolled out new payment agreements this year for back business and income taxes. They include reasonable down payments and flexible installments.

The Department of Revenue also offers different, and specific, payment plans for back Real Estate Taxes.

Get started
Taxpayers with no previous payment plans, or just one completed plan, can use our new Preferred agreement. All other taxpayers can use the Standard agreement.

Our agreement calculators can estimate future monthly payments, based on the length of plan you choose.

Contact the Department of Revenue to confirm your agreement, and to apply.
