Plan a block party

To hold a block party, you’ll need to:

  1. Fill out a Street Event Application form.
  2. Get approval signatures from at least 75% of the people on your block.
  3. Submit the required fee. (The cost increases if the application is received less than 21 days before the event.)
  4. Return the application form, petition signatures, and event fee to the Streets Department.

You can return the completed application one of two ways:

Drop off your completed application in the Block Party Drop Box, located in the concourse of the Municipal Services Building at 1401 John F. Kennedy Blvd.
