11:00 AM Mayor Kenney to Speak at O.V. Catto Memorial Unveiling
The Mayor, Octavius V. Catto Memorial Fund co-chairs Carol Lawrence and James Straw, descendants of O.V. Catto and sculptor Branly Cadet will unveil the memorial sculpture of Octavius V. Catto. This groundbreaking work of public art will be the first individual statue of an African American on public land in the city of Philadelphia. Media are asked to arrive by 10:30 AM to set-up, there will be an assigned section for TV press. Program will begin promptly at 11:00 AM.

4:30 PM Mayor Kenney to Speak at A+ Art 8th Annual Art in City Hall School District of Philadelphia Art Exhibit and Awards Presentation
The Mayor will recognize student artists and community partners before presenting a city citation to Blick Art Materials for their continued support of arts education in Philadelphia.
