12:00 PM Mayor Kenney to Speak at Boulevard Direct Ribbon Cutting
The Mayor, Managing Director Michael DiBerardinis, SEPTA General Manager Jeff Knueppel, Councilman Bobby Henon, Deputy Managing Director for the Office of Transportation and Infrastructure Systems (oTIS) Michael Carroll and representatives from PennDOT will cut the ribbon on new bus stations along Roosevelt Boulevard. SEPTA’s new “Boulevard Direct” bus service will begin on October 22.

3:00 PM Mayor Kenney to Speak at Mexican Grandparents Reception
The Mayor, Director of the Office of Immigrant Affairs Miriam Enriquez, Mexican Consul in Philadelphia Alicia Kerber and Executive Director Mi Casa es Puebla Passaic-NY Ana Flores will speak at this farewell ceremony for Mexican parents and grandparents who had the opportunity to spend three weeks with their families in the U.S. after not seeing them for over 15 years.
