10:00 AM Mayor Kenney to Speak at UNITE HERE Philadelphia Hospitality Academy Training Graduation
The Mayor will congratulate the first class of the UNITE HERE Philadelphia Hospitality Academy, that has trained students to work in two new city restaurants at the Philadelphia International Airport. UNITE HERE Local 247, community school Murrell Dobbins CTE High School, the Mayor’s Office of Education, Philadelphia Works and Philadelphia Concessions Enterprises all partnered to create this program to provide graduates with the skills they need to succeed in the hospitality industry.

Mayor Jim Kenney and the Athletic Directors from the U.S. Military Academy and the U.S. Naval Academy will be joined by other state and local officials to discuss the future of the Army-Navy Game in Philadelphia.
