The Mayor, Urban Affairs Coalition (UAC) President & CEO Sharmain Matlock Turner and City and State officials will celebrate the accomplishments of the students who completed internships as part of the Summer Youth Employment program. These students range in age from 14-18 and come from economically disadvantaged families.

1:00 PM Mayor Kenney to Speak at Closing Ceremony of “Find Your Power” Summer Solar Training Program
The Mayor, City Council President Darrell Clarke and program instructors will congratulate the 20 students who have successfully completed Philadelphia’s first high school solar training program. The program was run through the District’s Career and Technical Education department.
