Teams are now forming for the inaugural Philadelphia 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb at Lincoln Financial Field on Sept. 23. Participants will climb the equivalent of 110 stories in tribute to the first responders who lost their lives at the World Trade Center. The fundraiser, which features a 5K Walk as an alternate activity, benefits the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

Each participant receives an event T-shirt and honor badge. Registration is limited to 500; the cost is $35 in advance, or $40 the day of the event. On-site registration begins Sept. 23 at 7 a.m., followed by the opening ceremony at 8:30 a.m. Climbers and walkers step off at 8:45 a.m., and the event will end at 11:30 a.m.

Immediately following the Stair Climb, we invite you to cross the street to the Wells Fargo Center for the action-packed Hero Thrill Show, which raises money for the families of fallen firefighters and law enforcement officers.

Both of these events are open to the public. Please tell a friend!
