Resources for those impacted by Domestic Violence

Here at the Office of Domestic Violence Strategies (DVS) we envision a Philadelphia free of domestic violence and work to see that vision come to life. We believe Philadelphia can be a leading city in the effort to address domestic violence. Most importantly, we want to ensure all those who need access to resources can find help.

Domestic violence is complex and dangerous. Domestic violence can affect anyone — regardless of your class, race, marital status, sexual orientation, or gender identity. Domestic Violence is more than just physical abuse — it is a pattern of behaviors that a partner uses against the other person with the purpose of gaining and maintaining power and control in the relationship. These behaviors can include: isolation, financial deprivation, stalking, emotional abuse, and threats to harm partner, children or pets.

If you believe you or your loved one is in immediate danger, please contact the police at 911.

If you believe someone needs help, let them know they can call the Philadelphia Domestic Violence Hotline at any time: 1-866-723-3014

WARNING: Your computer use and internet activity could be monitored and tracked. Only access critical information from a safe computer.
