The Philadelphia Office of Emergency Management is changing to a new system that provides you with the emergency text and email alert system. One big change you will see is our new name -- ReadyPhiladelphia.
We’re in the process of creating a new City website from the ground up because we realize phila.gov isn’t as easy to use as it should be.
Below you’ll find the City’s news listing. However, it’s not a complete list. In the future, we’d like to centralize the City of Philadelphia’s news, events, service notifications, and blog posts in one place. We’ll update this page as we release enhanced designs. Stay tuned.
In the meantime, we’re happy to consider your suggestions. What City news and events would you like to know more about, and why? Your insights might inform future design and content improvements to the site.
- Use the site’s feedback links to alert us to content errors and design ideas.
- Sign up to be a beta.phila.gov tester. We’ll contact you for specific feedback on the News & events section and other site features.
