Philadelphia’s Office of Emergency Management wants area businesses to be prepared before, during, and after an emergency.

On October 8th, OEM is presenting a free business continuity workshop from 9:30am- 11:30am at the Aramark Tower in Center City Philadelphia.

If you have a business, whether it’s mom and pop or corporate, we will be doing presentations on hazard assessment, staying open during emergencies, communications, protecting investments, evacuation routes as well as other topics.

The workshop also includes a very informative presentation by Philadelphia Police Preparedness and Homeland Security Department on suspicious activity.

It’s free and open to all no matter where your business is located. The event is sponsored by the Philadelphia Bar Association.

It’s also easy to sign up. Go to  https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/2393DWY  and please register by October 5th.
