The Philadelphia Department of Revenue is now offering relief to any business located in counties designated by FEMA as qualifying for either individual assistance or public assistance because of Hurricanes Harvey, Irma, and Maria. Businesses in these areas that are liable for Philadelphia Business Income and Receipts Tax and the Net Profits Tax, now have until January 31^st, 2018 to file and pay these taxes. Businesses requiring extensions should email revenue@phila.gov, with the subject “Hurricane Tax Relief.” Please include the company name, EIN, and tax account number in your email.
