If you want to carry a gun outside your home in Pennsylvania, you must apply for a license. Applicants can submit a completed application by mail to:

Applications can also be dropped off at the Gun Permit Unit Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

If you prefer, you can apply online for a license. You can also use the website to renew or replace an existing license.
