The health and safety of the built environment, and the impact that place has on health, have emerged as key themes in DVGBC’s work, and we are excited to partner with Jefferson to host a half-day summit on the design, operation, and measurement of healthy, sustainable buildings. The summit will feature a keynote presentation on the emergence of new measurement technologies to evaluate occupant health and well-being in buildings, followed by a panel presentation and discussion on integrating design and medicine disciplines in higher education to promote better health outcomes. Event schedule will be announced soon. Breakfast and coffee will be provided. Event is worth 3 GBCI CE hours and AIA LU-HSWs. Tickets and Sponsorship Event Cost: Sliding Scale Fee DVGBC is providing a sliding scale fee to help make the event accessible for all interested. The new Trolley Trail will wend its way close to bridge abutments and through tunnels dating back to 1897. Future phases will bring signage, maps and trail blazes to guide users through the vast reaches of West Fairmount Park once only accessible via the trolley. Read more here.
