Department of Public Property

What we do

The Department of Public Property (DDP) manages the buildings and structures where City employees work and where City equipment is kept. Our department buys, sells, leases, designs, constructs, renovates, and maintains City properties. DDP makes sure that facilities operated by the City are in safe condition, are accessible, and that they function well.

Our five divisions include:

  • Facilities management
  • Real estate
  • Planning
  • Capital projects
  • Executive/administrative

These divisions work together to manage city properties, provide customer service, and plan for future building needs.
