The Philadelphia Fire Department and IAFF Local 22 team up to kick off the 64th annual “Fill the Boot” campaign to raise money for the Muscular Dystrophy Association. MDA Ambassador Claire Concilio, age 3, and her family will attend the news conference, and Councilman Squilla will present a proclamation before donating the traditional first dollar.

The campaign raised $152,000 last summer for the MDA, which uses the money for research and to improve the quality of life for children living with muscular dystrophy.
