Rasheeda and Jeff are proud PHLpreK parents. Their two sons, Jacob and Joshua, both attended PHLpreK at GLAD Center in Southwest Philadelphia. Jacob is currently enrolled in PHLpreK this year and Josh has since moved up to kindergarten.

“When looking for a school setting, we wanted to make sure it focused on the importance of education and was a place where children received encouragement to master skills,” Rasheeda shared. “We wanted our sons to be learning a curriculum in a loving and a nurturing environment, and we’re thankful that we were able to find all those qualities at GLAD Center. Even though Josh is in kindergarten, he still talks about his love for GLAD Center’s staff and classrooms.”

Rasheeda and her husband Jeff also shared how important it is for parents to have the peace of mind that a quality pre-K program can provide.

“From 7AM to 4PM our minds are at ease knowing that not only is Jacob with loving staff, but also safe at all times while receiving a quality pre-K education,” Rasheeda said. “We’re so happy that GLAD Center was selected as a PHLpreK provider, and we’re so thankful for the City’s dedication to early childhood education!”
